In my ideal world I'd be like a Barbie, styling a new outfit every few hours. My favorite part of each day has always been getting dressed up and admittedly, shopping my all time favorite activity. Since I am happiest when I am surrounded by beautiful clothes and accessories, I began creating the pieces I wanted to reach for every morning on vacation, just in different prints and colors.
Suitcase space is of course valuable, and so to avoid overpacking, these swimwear & resortwear pieces are designed to serve as foundational elements of many outfits and shape the unique style of the brand that dances between soft glamour with a hint of sophisticated hippie.
Pieces that look timeless, fit like a glove and that you feel like the one-in-a-million in at the beach, exploring an island or soaking in the first rays of sunshine at the hotel breakfast. Modern classics with a little spark, beautiful fabrics and unique details.
I’ve always believed that the pieces we wear every day should feel like us. Not just for one season and not because everyone is wearing it. I spent so long searching for wardrobe staples that felt timeless and vivacious: feminine without being frilly, refined but still full of personality. Instead, I kept finding the same beige-and-black basics over and over again.
This brand is a reflection of my world and a vivacious lifestyle I am continuing to curate, shaped by seven years working in luxury, classic cars and fine art, surrounded by beauty, history and craftsmanship. Those experiences taught me nuances and elements of style and how to use clothes as beautiful means to express yourself and tell the story of certain chapters of life.
Here, you’ll find a modern twist on the capsule wardrobe: pieces to build your signature style around but with color, emotion, and a sense of play. Clothes you can live in, style endlessly, love, and make memories in. The philosophy: the Pianella's "HeartCore", the staple pieces will remain the same, but we will play around endlessly with fantastic prints and add as many fun details and beautiful hand-drawn prints as we can think of over the next years.
